Traffic Safety education workshops are to educate the Ohio Metro area Somali community. Participants learning about traffic safety have experienced improved education and understanding and express skills through class participation and achieved in a context culturally acceptable. Participants are more readily adjusted to the new culture and have increased safety belt usage among new comer drivers and vehicle occupants learning about financial responsibility, traffic safety measures, and consequences and understand adversities more efficiently. They learn also about correct usage of child safety seats.
